Dear Friends,
We would like to start out our news with some praises. We are expecting our fourth child, Fanty is now 9th weeks in her pregnancy, and this might be too early to announce that but have many friends knew this already so we rather let you know too.
It is a privilege and a blessing for us as parents to take this responsibility to raise our kids according to what God has planned for them. We’re so sure this not going to be easy but with the strength and provision from God we’re confident. Marion our youngest daughter just turned two years old last week, she is a big baby now! One thing that we think about Marion is her shots for immunization, we want to complete her immunization before we go back to Indonesia, along with Fanty’s pregnancy checkup every 10 days we will need to come up with some source of funds to take care of this. So far we are able to get some assistance from State Emergency funds which will cover health emergency condition include everything during the baby birth. But this wont covered the checkup needed for Fanty and Marion’s immunization.
Anyway, another praise is I (Nomad) just got my driver license renewed for 7 months and this will enable me to do all the paper work with our vehicle and be able to drive a car. Just so that you know, I had tried apply to renew it two times in Michigan but they wont give it to me due to an expired visa and not having social security number (which I am not eligible for SSN). Anyway, we’re so grateful even only valid for 7 months.
My 9 days contingency training in Idaho went well, it’s absolutely a life saving training, equipped us as missionaries physically, mentally, and knowledge of situations or circumstances that we may be faced in the future but we really hope we don’t have to use it or ever have to face those kind of situations. My training seems to be doing okay and I am really enjoying the time learning and gain more experience, I recently finished with the flight ground school and just start flying this week. Start out with training in Cessna 185( a tail dragger), Bart Haines is an NTMA flight instructor who is assign to teach me. He was a missionary pilot to Indonesia couple of years ago and sure he has a lot of experience of what I will be needing during the training here. I do slow in some area of the training but generally improving everyday so please keep me in your prayer.
Still no news on our B1 visa applications but we trust The Lord for anything happen ahead, and knowing that He has good plan for us.
Start getting cooler and dryer here in McNeal Arizona, we’re even start using gas furnish heater during the night to keep us warm. Grass and bushes that used to be green now they turned brown but sure it doesn’t change the beauty of God’s creation.
As you know this is our final training before we head back to our own country Indonesia to join the ministry of spreading Gospel thru aviation. We’re glad to be part of you as Church-body of believers to do this Great Commission and we want to ask you to keep praying for us.
Thank you for praying and supporting us.
In HIS Hand!
