God's Wings
The Nelmans
Dear, praying friends
This pass week it’s our first month here in Arizona, and we are so glad that we’re able to be here and continue on with our training here in The States.
After 4 days on the road from Michigan to Arizona we have nothing to say other than God is good and He is Great.
These past weeks have been a lot of challenge for us already, our first night in Arizona had welcomed by a small rattle snake on front of our trailer house and some other snakes, tarantulas thru out the first month we’re here. We had enough time to unpack, settled in new home, get familiarize with the area here and got ready for the orientation. 7 day of orientation with New Tribes Mission Aviation had brought us to a different perspective of who they are, what their doing, why we need to be here and of course more other things have come cleared to us during that orientation.
First week of class was pretty difficult for me which is the aircraft maintenance class, my maintenance skill and knowledge was pretty rusty because I had been doing flight training for this past 14 months so I am now trying to recall that back by studying everything again. I am currently doing hands on maintenance training on the real mission plane. The 17th of this month, me and all other students will be gone for contingency training in Idaho for 10 days, will appreciate your prayer so that I will learn and understand things that I need to know during this training and for Fanti and Kids as they stay here in NTM Aviation compound with some of the student wives.
We have no word from the immigration regarding our application for business visa and our current student visas have already expired last month. We’re now still legal with in the period of grace as we waiting for an answer to our visas, please pray that our visa application will be granted and that we will be able to continue on our training here otherwise we will need to return to Indonesia and begin our visas application all over again.
By the way, we’re doing pretty good. Kids love their new place except we’re little worry about rattle snakes! All of our kids staying home since there is no preschool nearby. Me and Fanty start missed Michigan maybe because we were spoiled with the close by shopping center, Church, nice parks, yard/garage sales everywhere. But here, the closest shopping center is 30 minutes away( locate 1/4 mile from Mexican border).
And we just found a church that we considered to attend regularly during our time here.
Thank you so much for your support and prayers for us, we hope you all have a good summer.
Gratefully Serving HIM,
Nomad & Fanty Nelman
