Greetings,
We want to start with thanking you for your faithfulness in prayer, encouragement and support for us through out our time here. Praise The Lord! We made it thru winter, it was the tough one for us. Last weekend we were able to go outside, play in the park and enjoyed the sunny spring, of course no more snow on the ground. Everybody else healthy but Marion, she start having some flu.

We’re currently waiting for our visa extension in order to finish up with Nomad’s pilot training here in School of Missionary Aviation Technology (SMAT). Some of you may not know that we actually changed our plan, instead of applying for business visa we went with an extension for our current student visa. This will be a little risky but less complicate compare to what is require for business visa. Please keep praying for this vis
Recently Nomad got his Instrument rating and now he is taking a next phase of his training which is Commercial Pilot training. Why do you need Commercial Pilot License (CPL)? - This become most frequently asked question for us from our non-pilot friends and we still not have the best answer for that. But several reasons might make sense to some of you are :
-CPL is one of the requirement asked by our mission organization,
-And in commercial training we will be introduced to several different maneuvers, maximum performance of the aircraft, much details in techniques and procedures for emergency, which all of these are good for further skill & experience,
-In the mission field we may subjected to some commercial flight that will help to cover some of the aircraft operational cost.
The 21st-30th of this month Nomad will be down in McNeal, Arizona along with Scott Meyer and Yuspiter (Vanti and Kids are going to stay in Michigan during that time). We will be visiting NTM Aviation (NTMA) Headquarters to talk about our training plans with them which is start in August this year. Training with NTMA will be our last phase of training before we go back to our mission field. Please pray for this as Nomad will be travel down there and for rest of the family will be staying.
Thank you for your patients with our updates, God Bless You!
In HIM,
Nomad & Vanti Nelman
